Groomer’s Report - Monday 1/2/23

Good morning skiers! Our groomer's left the barn around 6 AM today and set fresh skate and some classic today. All trails are groomed and skiing well! This morning we had 24 degrees at 9 AM, a high of 37 and a low of 18. No new snow and a foggy overcast.

Reports back from skiers is that it is some of the best skating they have had this year.

This week our race team (PVNT) has 5 athletes at US Senior Nationals. This is the highest level of racing in the US. The first races are today, with more races through the week. More details can be found here: https://my.raceresult.com/229649/results Use the search engine to search on "Plain" to sort down to the list of our 5 skiers, or use their age categories (FU16, MU16, FU18) to see how they placed in their age group.

Enjoy the skiing today! Snowshoe trails are open and lots are plowed.

Trail passes can be purchased online at www.skiplain.com or in person at Plain Hardware. XC rentals, sales, service, and the best coffee in Washington can also be purchased at Plain Hardware (www.plainhardware.com).
