Groomer’s Report - Monday 12/7/20

Good morning, skiers! It is currently 28 degrees at 11 am, low overcast, and no new snow. The overnight low was 24 and yesterday’s high was 35. Trails are open and groomed between Stonewater Ranch and Thousand Trails, skate and classic. We have two trailheads open at this time, Clear Creek and Beaver Creek. The Plain trailhead is closed due to low snow. Snowshoe trails are also closed due to low snow.

Skating and classic are looking good today. We have early season conditions with low coverage. In the Thousand Trails area, there are two small sections covered in grass, leaves, and pine needles that are lacking snow. They are short and easily navigated. There is a lot of great snow and skiing out there! Probably a good 10 K’s of trail is groomed.

Trail passes are available at Plain Hardware, or on-line at SkiPlain.com. Parking is available at both Beaver Creek and Clear Creek Trail Trailhead. Ski and snowshoe rentals are at Plain Hardware.

Have fun out there!
