Pottery with Gray Lyons

Gray Lyons is a formally trained photographer and self-taught potter. She has received degrees from Bard College at Simon’s Rock, Savannah College of Art and Design and Towson University. A native of New Hampshire, Gray has lived in Plain for two years, running the art studios and co-coordinating the artist-in-residence program at the Grunewald Guild. She makes whimsical wheel-thrown porcelain forms, hand-decorated with porcelain slip. When not making art, Gray enjoys hiking, rock climbing and running.
