About the Event
Anita and her husband, Mark, are thrilled to become full time residents as of November 2019. They have been "weekend" locals for about 18 years meanwhile planning and then building their home and shop on the beautiful Wenatchee river. Anita loves the water and knew she had come "home" when they found this amazing parcel of land at the confluence of the Wenatchee and Chiwawa. Being on her kayak on the river or lake is her happy place and she takes every opportunity to get on the water. Mark and Anita have been married for almost 33 years and have 3 amazing children. She was blessed with a wonderful 2nd career as a piano teacher for 18 years, and worked in finance at Boeing for 8+ years. Though it was difficult to leave the proximity to family, they have loved moving to beautiful Plain! The sense of community is what strikes them so deeply. They feel so fortunate to have become a part of this amazing community! What to bring? Floatie of choice!
