Temperatures last night got down to the mid 20's, so not as cold as the previous nights, but should still provide for some great skiing today under cloudy skies.
Grooming for today had skate lanes freshened up on the entire system, minus Grizzly Mountain, Lumi Lane (and Cougar Run which is closed because of the bare spots running across the trail). Overall the classic tracks are holding up pretty well in most spots. All of the skiing in the open areas should be really good as the base is holding up, but be aware that as you go into the trees, there are a few thin/icy spots especially around the hitching post at Mountain Springs Lodge and the section in the trees between there and Stonewater Loop.
We are looking forward to more cold temps this weekend and just need to match that with some fresh snow!
All 3 trailheads are open but could be icy this morning so micro spikes are recommended. The Beaver Creek Trailhead parking lot has some large bare/muddy spots to avoid, not recommended for low clearance vehicles.
