While we didn't have any fresh snow fall last night, temps did drop down to the mid 20's and the trails groomed out really nice especially in the open areas of the Meadow Loop and around the Beaver Creek Trailhead. These colder temps have really been helping to keep the snow and makes for good skiing.
The classic tracks have been holding up in most areas except for spots in the trees, so fresh skate was groomed out with Ginzu's on all of our open trails including the Meadow Loop, Sprint Loop, the Mill Hill Complex (minus Cougar Run which is currently closed), the entire Beaver Creek Trail all the way out to the Clear Creek Turnaround, Stonewater Loop, Swamp Creek, and Clear Creek Loop.
We spent some time adding snow to the trail at the hitching post area of Mountain Springs Lodge, but in general still be aware of thinner spots in the trees.
All 3 trailheads are open but could be icy this morning so micro spikes are definitely recommended.
