Good morning skiers! Last night the groomers took the PB100 snowcat north to the Clear Creek Trailhead, including Grizzly Mountain! This means fresh skate and bomber classic. Almost all trails groomed with the PB100 last night except Mill Hill/Chainsaw/Rowdy/Cougar. These trails were groomed with the Ginzu Groomer.
Temps dropped down to 26 degrees last night so the trails will hold firm all day today. It's great skiing out there! It will be fast this morning!
WEDDING TODAY AT MT. SPRINGS - TEMPORARY BCT TRAIL CLOSURE/DETOUR!! 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM. The detour route is to use Meadow Loop to Rowdy Coyote to the cut-off to the top of Mill Hill (if you are skiing from Plain to the south and heading towards Clear Creek Trailhead to the north).
Trail passes can be purchased at Plain Hardware or online at www.SkiPlain.com. Please have your pass showing when you are on the trail, or keep your phone handy to show your e-ticket.
XC ski and snowshoe rentals are avalaible at Plain Hardware, as well as hot waxes and a full retail Nordic shop.
