Groomer’s Report - Tuesday, 2/7/23

Good morning skiers! Go skiing today in spite of the weather! You won't regret it! Today we have 35 degrees at 10 AM. The overnight low was 30 and yesterday's high was 45. We have light rain this morning, Trails have fresh skate grooming on most trails. Fresh classic on Meadow Loops, Sprint Loop, and on the BCT between Meadow Loop Trailhead and Mt. Springs. OF NOTE, we farmed snow in the Hitching Post area at Mt. Springs Lodge and have a good layer of snow there now. I also pushed snow over the melted out driveway crossing just south of the Beaver Creek Trailhead so you can safely ski across that road now. The BCT saw lots of attention today, but not some of the side loops. Classic tracks have both fresh and old. The old is sliding well but some may say they are icy. The fresh classic tracts are slower. Typically you will find both fresh and old on opposite sides of the same trail. Today's picture is from the Meadow Loop Trail.

Snowshoe trails are open and parking lots are plowed. WARNING - WE DID HAVE FREEZING RAIN THIS MORNING AND PARKING LOTS ARE VERY SLICK.

Passes are required and can be purchased online at www.skiplain.com or in person at Plain Hardware. Hot waxes are also avaliable at Plain Hardware!

Just go ski today! See you out there!

Jason, Caleb, and Rob W, today's groomers.

Have fun!
