Groomer's Report... 1/25/2025

pvst11

It's going to be another brisk and beautiful sunny day out on the trails.  Temperatures got down to around 10 degrees last night, so be careful walking in any of the parking lots.

The best skiing today will be any of the open areas near the trailheads.

Be aware of thin/icy spots around the hitching post and the hot tub hill/ Rowdy Coyote cut-

off areas of Mountain Springs Lodge.

The SnoCat set fresh skate and classic on Meadow Loop and the BCT out to Mountain Springs Lodge and the Sprint Loop is being prepped for the Washington Nordic Cup race tomorrow and will look a little different than normal.

The Ginzu worked the skate lane on the BCT from Mountain Springs all the way out to the Clear Creek Turnaround, freshening up all of the loops, while leaving the classic which is still holding up well in most spots.

(Cougar Run, Chainsaw Ridge and Lumi Lane are still closed until we get more snow.)

Parking lots are very icy and micro spikes are highly recommended, walk with care.
