Good morning skiers! It's looking like another great day to be out on the trails! It is mostly clear, no new snow, and 20 degrees at 8 AM. The overnight low was 18 and yesterday's high was 41. The snow is holding very well in spite of the warm afternoon temps. Fresh skate on most trails and classic left from yesterday.
Today's picture is from this morning on Shotgun Meadow just north of the Beaver Creek Trailhead.
Great skiing out there! Skate might be my choice this morning.
Snowshoe trails are open and parking lots are plowed. XC ski and snowshoe rentals are avalaible at Plain Hardware. Trail passes can be purchased online at www.skiplain.com or in person at Plain Hardware.
