Groomer’s Report - Monday, 2/27/23

Good morning skiers! What a beautiful winter morning with about 5" of fresh snow on the trails. It is currently 16 degrees after a low of 11 and yesterday's high was 33. We have a high, thin overcast this morning at 9 AM. We have fresh skate and classic grooming this morning on most trails. Today's picture was from the Stonewater Loops. Great skiing today, skate or classic.

The Plain Valley Nordic Team had an outstanding weekend of racing at Soldier Hollow, site of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Lots of great results but I do have to give a special shout out to U10 skier Finn Worden, who won all three of his races! Good job, Finn! You could say he "finnished" strong.

Today is the last day to ski the 2023 Tour de Plain. Great conditions out there today. Some old guy (60) has the fastest men's time right now. Enter here: https://www.skiplain.com/tourdeplain

A reminder that you can see conditions on individual trails and when they were groomed here: https://www.skiplain.com/groomingreport

Click the "Detailed Groomer Report" for that info.

Trail passes are required and can be purchased at www.skiplain.com or in person at Plain Hardware. You can also find XC ski and snowshoe rentals at Plain Hardware.

Today's groomers were Jason, Gus, and myself.

Have fun out there!
