Groomer’s Report - New Years Eve 2023

Good morning skiers! We have great conditions out there this morning! Ring out 2023 with an epic skate sesh on the trails! It's going to be fast this morning! Trails were groomed starting at 6:15 PM and finishing around 10 PM. This made for great grooming prior to the snow re-freezing overnight. We currently have 30 degrees at 9 AM. The overnight low was 30, and yesterday's high was 35. No new snow. This morning we have clearing skies with some blue sky showing. The grooming (Ginzu Groomer) came out nice, especially the new classic track. Fresh skate and classic everywhere.

Today's picture from Sprint Loop near the Meadow Loop Trailhead in Plain.

Low snow conditions exist so please stop at the road/snowmobile/horse sleigh crossings and take off your skis. Those user groups have churned up a fair amount of dirt at the intersections. Hot Tub Hill has two large bare spots so use caution there. This is on the Beaver Creek Trail just north of the Meadow Loop Trailhead. It's a short walk past these.

Trail passes are required and can be purchased at Plain Hardware www.plainhardware.com or online at www.skiplain.com. Proceeds fund our non-profit youth ski team and trail grooming.

Today's groomers were Jason and Rob D.

Have fun out there!
