Groomer’s Report - Saturday, 12/10/22

Good morning skiers!!! We've had a nice storm overnight with 13.5" of new and still snowing! We have 22 degrees at 9 am. The low was 21, and yesterday's high was 24.

Parking lots are plowed and open.

Skate and classic are set with the PB-100 snowcat for Plain Loops, Sprint Loop, and the Beaver Creek Trail between Plain and Mt. Springs Lodge. This snowcat packs the trail very well so the best skiing today will be on these trails.

We are roller packing first and then using the Ginzu to set final skate and classic grooming. It will take us a bit longer to finish the trails north of Mt. Springs Lodge. They are packed and Ginzu'ed from Swamp Creek north to the Clear Creek Trailhead, and some classic has been set in that area.

Today's picture is from the BCT near Clear Creek Trailhead.

Snowshoe trails are open but unpacked at this time.

Trail passses are required and can be purchased on-line at www.skiplain.com or in person at Plain Hardware.

Have fun out there!

Jason, Josiah, and Rob D, today's groomers.

Unfortunately, we have made the decition to CLOSE the trails until conditions improve. It is a little to thin, soft and wet out there and it looks like more rain tomorrow. Do your snow dance and hopef

Good morning skiers! As of 8:15 AM the temp is 32 degrees with light rain. No new snow over night. Due to soft conditions and our thin base we did not groom this morning. Most trails were last groomed
