Groomer’s Report - Sunday, 2/5/23

Good morning skiers! This morning we have 1 - 2 inches of new snow, 32 degrees at 9 AM, with some filtered sun. It looks like the skies will be clearing today. We have fresh skate and classic set on the Meadow Loop Trails, Sprint Loop, and the BCT between Plain and Mt. Springs Lodge. It has set up very nicely and is very firm so the skate and classic will be amazing today! We have groomed for skate on the balance of the trails. Classic was left from yesterday north of Mt. Springs Lodge as the new snow was not enough to set fresh classic and the old snow is frozen solid. Today's picture is from the Beaver Creek Trail just north of the Meadow Loop Trailhead in Plain. Groomer's choice today is skate!

The Plain Valley Nordic Team (youth team) had some great results at the Junior Nordic Qualifing Race #3 in Winthrop yesterday. They are racing again today and I will include some highlights in tomorrows grooming report.

Tonight the Plain Valley Adventure Women are hosting a Full Moon Ski at the Meadow Loop Trailhead, from 6 - 8 PM. Trail passes are required.

Passes can be purchased online at www.skiplain.com or in person at Plain Hardware.

Jason, Gus, and Josiah, today's groomers!

Have fun out there!
