Groomer’s Report - Sunday 3/3/24

Good morning skiers! It's March and we are still skiing! Trails are looking awesome this morning after an overnight low of 19 after yesterday's high of 40. Last night we groomed the Meadow Loop Trails, Sprint Loop, and the BCT between Meadow Loop Trailhead and Mt. Springs Lodge with the PB 100 snowcat. Both skate and classic will be very good this morning. Up north, we have groomed the BCT between Stonewater Loop and the Clear Creek Trailhead with the Ginzu groomer, skate only. This includes Swamp Creek Loop and Grizzly Mountain (two way travel on Griz as the south side has a melt-out). Classic was left from yesterday. The classic tracks are good except for icy spots under the trees. The middle section of the BCT is CLOSED for the season. This is north of Mt. Springs Lodge to Stonewater Loop. Today's picture is from this morning on Meadow Loop.

Beaver Creek Trailhead and parking are closed due to muddy conditions in the parking lot. Park at Clear Creek Trailhead instead.

Parking is avaliable at Plain Hardware if you don't want to venture into the Meadow Loop Parking lot.

Trail passes are required and can be purchased at Plain Hardware or online at www.SkiPlain.com. Please have your passes showing when on the trails, or keep your phone handy to show e-ticket.

Grooming this morning by Rob D and Jason.

Have fun out there! Skating is going to be fast this morning!
