Groomer’s Report - Thursday 2/16/23

Good morning skiers! So many good things happening out on our trails! Last evening we had our end of season pizza party for our youngest skiers (Devo Program)! It warms my heart to see so many local families out in support of their kids and the ski team (PVNT). Ah ... but back to grooming! I skated the trails yesterday and it was sure fun! Every day I get to meet skiers who are discovering our trails for the first time. Today we have similar grooming with the PB-100 grooming the Meadow Loop Trails, Sprint Loop, and the BCT between Plain and the far side of Hot Tub Hill. We've used the Ginzu's on the trails north of Mt. Springs for fresh skate. Classic is mostly left from yesterday. Groomer's choice today is SKATE on Sprint Loop!

It is currently 21 degrees at 7:30 AM. The overnight low was 18 and yesterday's high was 44. No new snow and some high clouds.

WARNING - PARKING LOTS CONTINUE TO BE ICY - BE CAREFUL WALKING IN YOUR SKI BOOTS.

Trail passes are required and can be purchased online at www.skiplain.com or in person at Plain Hardware. Plain Hardware also offers XC ski and snowshoe rentals, and Washington's best espresso! They also have a great selection of XC gear for sale. Check it out here: https://www.plainhardware.com/xc-ski-gear

Today's groomers were Gus, Caleb, and myself.

Have fun out there! Say "hi" to your fellow skiers!
