Groomer’s Report - Thursday, 3/2/23

Good morning skiers! The amazing winter weather continues and today we have a trace of fresh snow on the trails, with light flurries and 31 degrees at 9:30 AM. We have fresh skate on most trails, and classic has been left from yesterday. Both will be good today. Last night we did a bit of snow farming for Hot Tub Hill and the approach to Mill Hill/Chainsaw Ridge. They will have better coverage, especially with this cold and snowy pattern. Today's picture is from the Meadow Loop Trails, with a frequent coyote friend that I've named Ralph who keeps watch of the fields and woods around Mt. Springs Lodge.

Trail passes are required and can be purchased online at www.skiplain.com or in person at Plain Hardware. Plain Hardware also offers XC ski and snowshoe rentals and sales, with the area's largest selection of XC skis, boots and poles.

Today's groomers were Rob D, Josiah, and Gus.

Have fun out there!
