Groomer’s Report - Tuesday 1/24/23

Good morning skiers! The sun is out and it is another beautiful day! It is mostly clear, no new snow, and 41 degrees at 8:45 AM. The overnight low was 21 and yesterday's high was 43. The snow is holding very well in spite of the warm afternoon temps. Fresh skate on most trails. Fresh classic was set on the BCT from start to finish and on most of the side loops up valley. Classic is holding up well in the meadow loops, tracks will be firm and fast first thing in the morning and then soften as the temps rise.

Today's picture is from this morning at the Meadow Loop Trail Head.

Great skiing out there!

Snowshoe trails are open and parking lots are plowed. XC ski and snowshoe rentals are available at Plain Hardware. Trail passes can be purchased online at www.skiplain.com or in person at Plain Hardware.
