Groomer’s Report - Wednesday, 3/6/24

Good morning skiers! It's a chilly 15 degrees this morning at 8 AM. The overnight low was 13 and yesterday's high was 40. No new snow. Trails have fresh skate grooming today and the classic was left from yesterday. The skating is going to be good today and classic is still holding in there fairly well. Tracks are a bit glazed. All grooming has been done with the Ginzu groomers. Today's picture is from just north of Stonewater Ranch. A reminder that the BCT is closed north of Mt. Springs to Stonewater Loop due to poor coverage.

Trail passes are required and can be purchased at Plain Hardware or online at www.skiplain.com. Please have your pass showing while on the trails or have your phone handy to show your e-ticket.

XC ski rentals are avaliable at Plain Hardware.

PARKING/TRAILHEAD CLOSURE: BEAVER CREEK TRAILHEAD IS CLOSED FOR THE YEAR DUE TO MUDDY PARKING LOT CONDITIONS. This is a hay field in the summer so we are not able to gravel the lot.

Our last day of grooming will be Sunday, March 10th. Trails will be closed on the 11th. Thanks for an amazing season! We opened December 2nd and ended up with a decent season in a low snow winter!

Today's groomers were Caleb and Jason.

Have fun out there! It's skiing really well.
