HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! As we ring in 2026, we are thankful for our amazing community and the support that we receive as we work to provide a high quality trail system. We are looking forward to many more days of skiing and are especially eager for some more snow.

Last night we had temperatures again down to around 20 degrees and no new snow, but today temps are looking to get just above freezing and we may even get a little bit of snow and wintry mix as the day goes on. All 3 trailheads are OPEN. The SnoCat was out for the first time this season in the Meadow Loop helping with the parking lot and freshening up the skate deck in the Meadow Loop, BCT out to Mountain Springs Lodge and the Sprint Loop, a few attempts were made at new classic, but most was holding up and left from yesterday. Ginzu's were used on the rest of the trail system, freshening up all of the skate lanes and setting a few spots of new classic on the BCT out to and including Stonewater Loop.

The detour at Stonewater Loop to link the BCT and get across the creek still exists, so follow the signs to get to their walking bridge. CLOSED trails are still Cougar Run, Chainsaw Ridge and Lumi Lane until we get more snow.

The best conditions will be out in the meadows from all 3 trailheads while thin and uneven areas may be found when you venture into the trees. Enjoy the first day of the new year and we hope that 2026 is a great one!

Trail passes are all online this year and can be purchased HERE, and and as always, kids ski free, but they also need an online PASS.

On Saturdays, 10am-12pm, we are again offering CLINICS for anyone from Adults to Kids and they are designed for beginners and will focus on either skate or classic. Skiers will work through progressive techniques, with the goal of independently skiing gentle terrain by the end of the clinic. It's a great way to pick up a new sport or a good refresher if it has been awhile.
