Grooming Report... 12/22/2025

Day 2 of cross country ski-mas... It was so good to see some of you out on the trails yesterday and even to have a few of our amazing Trail Ambassadors out to greet skiers at the trailhead.

It did get down to below freezing last night to go with just a dusting of new snow, so hopefully that will allow the trails to be a bit firmer this morning as we groomed with the Ginzu's late last night. We will again have just the Meadow Loop and Walk In Trailheads open which will be roughly 3-4 km and includes the Meadow Loop, Meadow Loop Cut-Off and the Beaver Creek Trail just out to the turnaround at Mountain Springs Lodge, groomed for both skate and classic. The base is still thin and while we tried to fill in some low spots and re-route around some wet spots, be aware that the trails can still be a little uneven, but good areas are there to be found.

Overall we were told, "That it was so great to finally be able to get out and ski and it was the best skiing that they had done all day."

We will continue to take it day by day and make sure that we aren't doing more damage to the trails than will be fixable later, but for now, get out there and ski while you can. The parking lot is covered in snow, so all-wheel drive vehicles are recommended. Our other trailheads and trails remain CLOSED as we wait for better conditions, so please stay on the trails we have groomed.

Early Season Day Passes are discounted to $15 and only available online here. and as always, kids ski free, but they also need a pass.
