Grooming Report... 12/27/2025

UPDATE:  There is a DOT sign on the Chumstick Hwy that says, "No Ski Access", but that is referring to Stevens Pass and there is access to the Plain Valley Ski Trails.  We are in communication with the DOT to get the sign updated, so we do have trails open and please come and ski them! 

We ended up getting 5-6" of fresh snow yesterday and temperatures finally got down into the mid-20's which is great for the trails. It was a very light and airy snow, the type that could be cleared with a leaf blower, but we will take every flake we can get. Ginzu's were out roller packing most of the trails attempting to open more, but that will have to wait as there are still large wet area and very thin spots still in the trees. The new skate and classic on the Meadow Loop, Meadow Loop Cut-Offs and the Beaver Creek Trail out to the turnaround at Mountain Springs Lodge, looks beautiful, but will likely be a little soft this morning as there was not a lot of moisture to bond the flakes together. Today's forecast is for temperatures right around freezing under partly cloudy skies.

We continue to have the Meadow Loop Trailhead and Walk In Trailheads OPEN as the other trailheads will remain CLOSED, but we are hoping to be able to have sections open around all 3 trailheads very soon.

The parking lot is covered in snow, so all-wheel drive vehicles are recommended.

Early Season Day Passes are still discounted to $15 and only available online (Click Here) and as always, kids ski free, but they also need an online pass.

Trail Ambassadors will be out at the Meadow Loop Trailhead to greet skiers and answer any questions you might have. Enjoy the fresh snow!
