Grooming Report... 2/12/2025

pvst11

Day 2 of being trapped in the frozen tundra. Temperatures last night fell into the negatives and will slowly creep their way back into the 20's under some hopefully sunny skies. Once again if you choose to brave this cold weather for some good skiing, dress warm and stay moving.

Because of these cold stretch we are focusing the grooming on the Beaver Creek Trail which was touched up with the SnoCat south of Mountain Springs Lodge and with the Ginzu's from Hot Tub Hill north all the way to the Clear Creek Turnaround freshening up the skate lanes which should be fast today. Passes with the Ginzu were also made on Stonewater Loop and Swamp Creek Loop.

Down at the Meadow Loop Trailhead, the SnoCat also worked the Meadow Loop and the Sprint Loop, setting fresh skate and touching up the classic where needed.

Still be aware of thin spots on Hot Tub Hill, the Hitching Post area and a few places between there and Stonewater Loop where the trail goes into the trees.

Thank you for defying the cold and getting out and enjoying the trails.
