Grooming Report... 2/20/2025

pvst11

It should be a lovely day for skiing with temperatures currently hovering right around the freezing mark and under mostly sunny skies.  It might feel a bit like Spring skiing this afternoon as temps are expected to jump up to 40 degrees, what a difference a week makes... (and we might be saying the same thing next week..)

The SnoCat was out grooming the usual Meadow Loop, the Beaver Creek Trail out to Mountain Springs Lodge and the Sprint Loop, setting nice fresh skate and a few spots of fresh classic where needed.

The Ginzu was setting fresh skate and classic on Rowdy Coyote and Mill Hill.  Attempts to set fresh classic on the Beaver Creek Trail from Mountain Springs Lodge up to the Clear Creek Turnaround were made with mixed results in some places, but the the skate turned out better.  Stonewater Loop, Swamp Creek Loop, Clear Creek Loop and Grizzly Mountain also were touched up with fresh skate.

Places to be aware of are still thin spots on Hot Tub Hill and the Hitching Post area of Mountain Springs Lodge.
