Grooming Report... 2/4/2025

pvst11

Thank you to all the volunteers that made Stage 2 of Tour de Plain a success and we look forward to Stage 3, Feb. 28 - Mar. 3 up at the Osprey Lodge Trailhead.

Today brings us some more fresh snow, roughly another 2-3 inches of light and fluffy goodness, which is a very welcome sight.  Temperatures dropped down to the low 20's overnight and are expected to stay in the mid 20's today with a chance for some more flurries.

The SnoCat groomed the Meadow Loop, the BCT out to Mountain Springs Lodge and the Sprint Loop setting skate and classic, while the Ginzu's were out working Mill Hill, Rowdy Coyote, the BCT all the way from Mountain Springs Lodge to the Clear Creek Turnaround, making passes on all of the side loops along the way except for Grizzly Mtn.

(Cougar Run and Lumi Lane are still closed until we get more snow.)

Parking lots have a couple of inches of snow over ice and micro spikes are recommended, walk with care.
