Welcome to Wednesday! We got another light dusting of snow last night with temperatures hovering right around 20 degrees. The forecast for today is calling for cloudy skies with a chance for flurries and temps in the mid 20's, which means another great day as it feels like winter.
It's our typical mid-week groom with the SnoCat staying down in the Meadow area, setting fresh skate and classic on Meadow Loop, the BCT out to Mountain Springs Lodge and Sprint Loop, while the Ginzu's were freshing up the skate lane on Mill Hill, Rowdy Coyote, the BCT all the way out to the Clear Creek Turnaround and touching up the side loops along the way. Some fresh classic was set north of the Beaver Creek Trailhead. (Cougar Run and Lumi Lane are still closed until we get more snow.)
Parking lots have a couple of inches of snow over ice and micro spikes are recommended, walk with care.
