Grooming Report... 2/9/2025

pvst11

Temperatures last night made it down to the high teens and are currently still hovering around 20 degrees which gives us a great recipe for some good skiing once again!

Since the SnoCat did the whole trail system for yesterday, the classic is holding up really well on everything north of Mountain Springs Lodge, so the Ginzu was out freshening up the skate lanes on almost everything up there and it is looking really nice.

That means that the SnoCat stayed down south again and set fresh skate and classic on the Meadow Loop, the BCT out to Mountain Springs Lodge, Spring Loop, Rowdy Coyote and Mill Hill, while making just a skate pass skate on Chainsaw Ridge. The trails are also looking really good in this southern area especially anything out in the open.

There are still some thin spots on parts of Cougar Run and Chainsaw Ridge, along with Hot Tub Hill, the Hitching Post area of Mountain Springs Lodge and a few spots poking out in the trees between there and Stonewater Loop.  It is all definitely skiable (hoping that's a word), but just a few places to be aware of.

Just a quick shout out to all of our amazing Trail Ambassadors, thank you for being such a vital part of our trail system.
