*The Osprey Lodge Trailhead is the only open access to our trails. The Meadow Loop and Beaver Creek Trailheads are both closed for the season.*
We are approaching the end of our ski season and the snow is melting quickly. Of the roughly 40% of trails that are still open, about 80% of that is really amazing conditions with great classic and skate, but the challenge is that to reach those amazing areas, you need to get past the not so good areas of melt outs, ice and dirty trails.
Temperatures did get down below freezing again last night, so if you can make it to any of the open fields, you will find great skiing. Fresh skate and classic on Stonewater Loop, the BCT from there to the Clear Creek Turnaround, the Swamp Creek Loop and just skate on the Clear Creek Loop.
Closures include everything south of Stonewater Loop and all of Grizzly Mountain. Use caution in the Osprey Lodge Trailhead Parking Lot that is icy and micro spikes are recommended.
