Good morning skiers! We are officially open with some limited terrain for both skate and classic skiing. Trails groomed currently are the Meadow Loop Trails (expanded loop), and Sprint Loop. We are also working on the trails near Stonewater Ranch/Youth Dynamics but they are not open yet.
The trail is closed through the Mt. Springs area as they are not yet done prepping for winter and they are driving on what will be the trail.
Great skating. Classic track looks good but I’m guessing poling will be soft, and track might be soft (but firming up as the day goes on). It is currently 28 degrees with some flurries and light overcast.
Parking is open at the Meadow Loop Trailhead in Plain.
There is currently no parking open at Stonewater nor the Beaver Creek Trail parking lot. We will be working on those sites as time allows. Please do not park in these areas until we announce that a lot is plowed and open.
Snowshoe trails are not open yet.
What a crazy early start! Let’s hope this snow sticks around but for now I’d get out there and play while we have great conditions!
