Grooming Report... 2/8/2026
It's Super Bowl Sunday and that probably means you are looking to get some skiing in before the game and we have roughly 70% of our trails still open, so you are in luck. The best conditions are up north around the Osprey Lodge Trailhead where is has been staying a bit colder. If you are feeling adventurous, it is possible to ski from there down to the Mountain Springs Lodge access trail to grab a hot drink only having to take you skis off for the road and driveway crossing

NOTICE: Both the Meadow Loop and Beaver Creek Parking Lots are now CLOSED leaving just the Osprey Lodge Parking Lot still open for your vehicle, or finding a way to get dropped off and access the trails through the Walk In Trailhead. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for sticking with us. Unfortunately the Meadow Loop trails are having a hard time holding up to this warm weather and today is going to be the last day for grooming them because of the amount of

PARKING LOT UPDATES... 2/6/2026
BOTH THE MEADOW LOOP AND BEAVER CREEK PARKING LOTS ARE NOW TEMPORARILY CLOSED, LOSING THEIR BATTLE WITH THE MUD. PLEASE MAKE ALTERNATE PLANS BY USING THE OSPREY LODGE PARKING LOT OR GETTING DROPPED OFF AT THE WALK IN TRAILHEAD ACCESS. We apologize for the inconvenience and are hoping that next weekend might bring the colder temperatures back and even some snow. Thank you for understanding and hanging in there with us. No one is ready for Spring Cleaning when it is still Fe

Today is looking like it will be the warmest day of the week and trails continue to get softer out there and the snow continues to slowly melt away, but temperatures did get down to just about freezing last night, so a morning ski should be pretty nice. We are not going to pretend that these are perfect mid-Winter conditions because it is looking and feeling like early Spring when the trails are thinking more about next season when we will have a lot more snow, but we are no

There's no easy way to say it, this warm weather is not helping to preserve the trails and they are starting to show the effects of not having any new snow or cold temperatures. The snow that we do have is melting a bit more each day and trails are continuing to be soft and getting more saturated with the melting snow. The narrow spots are getting narrower and there are more areas are showing the ground underneath especially in the Meadow Loop area. Don't let that scare yo

It definitely feels like Spring out there and the trails are continuing to show it. Overall, there is still good skiing, thank you for all the positive feedback as we try to continue squeezing every last drop of lemonade out of this lemon of a winter so far. Temperatures last night stayed just above freezing again and the forecast is for some patchy fog clearing up to possibly some sunshine today, so the best time to ski is going to be first thing in the morning. Cheers to all of you brave souls that made it out in the rain yesterday to leave fresh tracks and gave us a reason to groom! Most of the trails are still holding up better than expected, although they have absorbed a lot of moisture over the last couple of days and there are a few sections that are starting to create puddles, so keep an eye out for them. Temperatures stayed just above freezing last night, so the earlier, the better to get the best conditions before it warm

Temperatures last night got down to right around freezing which means that the trails this morning should be pretty nice and better than they have been the last few days, although the forecast is calling for a wintry mix this morning and temps rising to around 40 again. The extended forecast is unfortunately showing very similar temps during the day along with some sunshine until the weekend, so we will continue to do the best we can and make adjustments as necessary. We made it to February... we just wish that winter came with us. There's no easy way to say it, but the snow is trying to escape our trails. These warm temperatures are having their effect and trails will continue to be soft, but there is still plenty of skiing to be found, so we are not giving up yet. We will continue to do the best we can with the snow that we still have. While it only got down to the mid 30's last night and it's expected to get up around the 40's again
